MEMBERSHIP OF ORDO MARIA APOSTOLORUM
The Order of Marian Apostles is open to both clergy and laity alike. Because the Order subsists within the world, one can be a part of the Order and still remain dedicated to one’s own daily living. The focus of members (both clergy & laity), properly understood, is this world, the here and now of one's profession, neighbourhood, family and associates. In a pluralistic world so far from Christian values, we seek to bring Christ in every thinkable way to every person and place. Formerly, the Church expected the people to come to Her; now the Church must find ways to go to the people!
MEMBERS (Both clergy & laity)
Members of the Order of Marian Apostles are committed to real evangelizing, not with words but through living the Gospel in their daily lives. Exploration of Spirituality is of paramount importance and that is why members are encouraged to form a personal relationship with God. The Order realizes that no two people are the same and, therefore, one persons' approach to faith will be considerably different to another. Collectively this leads to a vast depth of spirituality within the Order, that benefits each one.
The most important contribution members make to the apostolate of OMA is commitment to prayer and Christian perfection in a spiritually indifferent world. Our aim is to sanctify, first ourselves and then those around us. What makes OMA so unique is the close bond of unity between all members. There is constant support, encouragement and help given to the members by each other. Prayer becomes a source of joy and contentment, and the Liturgy ‘comes alive’.
If you would like to become part of this dynamism and make a contribution to a very worthwhile endeavour, then please get in touch with us. We will provide you with whatever support and information you need.
